Under a mandarin sky: a dream of the present infused with the orange glow of memory. This was the inspiration behind Circo de Bakuza’s exotic and sensorial event to celebrate the launch of the new Prada Infusion Mandarine fragrance.

The newest fragrance in the Infusion collection evokes an ambiance between two worlds, blending the classical and modern … with a twist of evolution accented by the exotic freshness of citrus fruits.

In April 2018, to mark the highly anticipated launch, Circo invited a select group of influencers and journalists on an unforgettable two-day journey through Sorrento and Capri in Italy. It was the perfect setting for the exotic fragrance, where citrus fruits like mandarins and lemons grow in abundance and lush orange trees reach for the sun on the beautiful sun-kissed streets.

The experience began in Sorrento at the Parco dei Prinicipi, a stunning clifftop monument overlooking the Mediterranean paying tribute to modernist icon Gio Ponti, one of Italy’s most influential 20th century architects and designers.

Guests were invited to enjoy cocktails on the beach at sunset, followed by an out-of-this-world dining experience set in the Garden of Light. Sitting down with fragrance creator Daniela Andrier, they were treated to an incredible and immersive pixmob-style light show and a creative 9-course menu inspired by the Infusion collection, with tableware and furniture inspired by Gio Ponti.

The following day, guests were transported separately to different olfactory experiences on the Amalfi Coast. An intimate lunch of traditional antipasti was served in a lemon grove, where Daniela Andrier shared her vision and creative process with the guests, along with the olfactory pyramid.

In the afternoon, guests boarded a private yacht where they got to discover the stunning coastline from the sea. Next, they were transferred to Capri Palace, where surprise gifts awaited them in their elegant rooms, including fragrance bottles and Prada pyjamas.

Following interviews with the fragrance designer, cocktails were served on a terrace surrounded by a luminous mandarin installation that wound up the staircase, creating the perfect photo call setting. After dark, they dined at an elegant mirrored table with a hanging mandarin grove-inspired chandelier with bottles of Mandarin Infusion woven into its design. The table was decorated with mandarin tree branches and fruits, placed on the mirrored table to create an infinite effect.

After returning home from their unforgettable trip through Italy and the Infusion Mandarine universe, the guests shared their experiences on social media to help promote the new fragrance.
